Members of Daytona State College's Gay-Straight Alliance and World AIDS Week Daytona Committee unfolds an Aids Memorial quilt for display from the second floor of the Daytona State College Photography Hall Thursday, Dec. 6. More than 48,000 individual 3-by-6-foot memorial panels commemorated the life of someone who has died of AIDS. The quilts were sewn together by friends, lovers and family members.
