INDIALANTIC -- The Indialantic tradition of saving the holiday display on Fifth Avenue continues on Friday, Dec. 7, as Classic Reflections Car Club will be hosting a fundraiser at Nance Park.
Bill Antonetz, a member of the Classic Reflections Car Club for six years, said the Indialantic Fifth Avenue Light Display Classic Antique Car Show is an effort to raise funds for the town's light display next year.
Mr. Antonetz said event-goers at the Dec. 7 event will experience a variety of classic cars on display.
"We are helping the town out by doing the car show, and, if we get enough cars, it should be a good fundraiser," Mr. Antonetz said. "Our organization does a lot of stuff for the area. We are a charitable organization."
Mr. Antonetz said there will also be a raffle giving away a donated gas grill from Ace Hardware in Indialantic.
Live musical entertainment will feature local acts "Gt Express," "Lady DB and The Dukes," and a group of Hawaiian Dancers will be there to entertain the crowd.
For those interested in registering a classic car to display at the event, registration is $10.
The Classic Reflections Car Club consists of members from throughout the South Brevard area. The organization said its main purpose is to raise money for local charities and highlight the hobby of collecting and restoring old cars.
The Indialantic Fifth Avenue Light Display Class Antique Car Show will be at Nance Park from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday, Dec. 7.
Nance Park is located at 201 N. Miramar Ave., Indialantic.
