"The sum of $15 will feed one resident for one week which is 21 meals or 72 cents per meal. Thirty-one dollars provides one week of food, housing and job counseling for one resident."

The challenge finale will continue using "blind tasting" by guests and judges at the event to ensure unbiased voting based on taste, creativity and presentation of the entrées.

Qualifying event tickets cost $40 per person and Vero's Top Chef Challenge cost $175 per person. Only 140 tickets for the challenge finale will be available.
