Christmas dinner, dance planned
The EL-DOEs of Sebastian Elks Lodge 2714 will hold their annual "Toys For Tots" Christmas dinner and dance on Dec. 1.
The festivities start with cocktails at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. Bring an unwrapped toy or toys for needy children.
Tickets are available for $12.50 per person in the Elks lounge, located at 731 Fleming St., in Sebastian, Monday to Saturday after 3 p.m.

Holiday events
The following holiday events are taking place throughout the city:
o The holiday ball is Dec. 7 at 7:30-10 p.m. at the Vero Beach Community Center. Cost is $10 per person payable upon arrival at the Vero Beach Community Center (2266 14th Ave.).
o The holiday round robin mixer at Riverside Racquet Complex (350 Dahlia Lane) will be held on Dec. 8 from noon-1:30 p.m. Cost is $10 for members and $12 non-members. Sign up by calling (772) 231-4787.
o The community holiday party will be held Dec. 12 from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Vero Beach Community Center. Advance tickets are on sale now for $7. The last day to purchase tickets is Dec. 6.
o The Aerial Antics Youth Circus will tumble, dance and fly through the air while replacing pieces of a magical Christmas puzzle at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center on Dec. 16 at 2 and 6 p.m. Ticket prices are $6 for adult and $5 for children and seniors.
