Halifax Urban Ministries Food Pantry Coordinator Evelyn Preston packs a grocery bag with food at Grace Episcopal Church in Port Orange, Nov. 9. The food bank is in need of food for the growing number of families in need this holiday season. More than 60 families receive food from this pantry each week. The pantry is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. For more information on how to donate or if you're in need of services, call (386) 761-2839. The pantry is located at 4110 S. Ridgewood Avenue in Port Orange. The food bank serves residents who live in Port Orange, South Daytona, Ponce Inlet and Daytona Beach Shores.
