Shopping event taking place Nov. 9-12
The city's second annual community days shopping event will take place Veterans Day weekend.
Participating businesses throughout Port St. Lucie will offer promotions that include discounted pricing or free giveaway items. There is also an option to print a list of businesses that can be brought along on a shopping trip.
Businesses that want to participate can sign up on the city's website, www.cityofpsl.com, or call the city's business tax division at (772) 344-4356.
Event to benefit local family
A Chinese auction to benefit the Vitelli family will take place on Nov. 9, from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. in the clubhouse at Spanish Lakes Country Club Village, Route 713, in Fort Pierce. Tickets cost $1.

Library to host workshop
The Fort Pierce Branch Library will host "An Excellent Business Plan" workshop presented by Service Corps of Retired Executives on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 5-7 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public.
