FORT PIERCE - St. Lucie County's Tourist Information Center has relocated from the county administration complex to the Havert L. Fenn Center, 2000 Virginia Ave., Fort Pierce.
Operated by the St. Lucie County Tourism Office, the Tourist Information Center is now located in the lobby of the Fenn Center and features brochures, flyers and other informational materials about local tourist attractions and hotels. Staff is available to answer questions and provide information/
recommendations about local attractions.
"Our new location at the Fenn Center will not only allow us more space for information, but give visitors better parking and improved access," said Charlotte Lombard Bireley, manager of tourism and venues.
"Additionally, having the information conveniently located at Fenn Center is a great opportunity for us to upsell our beautiful area to visitors attending an event that may not have otherwise been aware of all the fantastic things to see and do in St. Lucie County."
The tourism office is part of St. Lucie County's parks, recreation and facilities department.
The St. Lucie County Tourist Information Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For additional information, call (800) 344-8443 or visit www.visitstluciefla.com.
