Stuart Martin Chamber of Commerce Communicators Toastmasters invites the public to its open house on Nov. 16 to meet members and watch special guest speaker, division Gov. Joseph Duerr of Atlantic Insurance Advisors, talk about the importance of communication skills for today's professionals.
SMCCC Toastmasters provides a supportive and positive environment, where members have the opportunity to develop their communication and leadership skills, said Lisa Bebout, president for Toastmasters Club 2231493.
After hearing from the special guest speaker, members and guests will enjoy testimonials from current members and a fun and energized segment of table topics (impromptu speeches).
The event will take place at the Stuart Martin County Chamber of Commerce at 1650 S. Kanner Highway, in Stuart, from 7:45 a.m.-9:15 a.m. A continental breakfast will be served.
