INDIAN RIVER COUNTY - On Halloween weekend, Oct. 31-Nov. 4, Indian River Charter High School will perform the suspenseful psychodrama/murder-mystery "Blood Relations" based on the iconic story of Lizzie Borden.
Students will not only have the opportunity to perform a uniquely challenging piece, but will also perform for a special guest. The writer of "Blood Relations," popular Canadian playwright Sharon Pollock, will be traveling to Vero Beach to watch the production.
"Blood Relations," Ms. Pollock's most popular play, re-tells this classic murder-mystery with chilling insight into responsibility, truth and lies.
This psychodrama blends Lizzie's memories with actual accounts of the murders and takes the audience through a suspenseful story that questions the difference between truth and lies, memory and reality.
Due to the suspenseful nature of this piece, children under age 13 will not be admitted.
"Blood Relations" will be performed at 8 p.m.
Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased at www.irchsonline.org by clicking on the "tickets" tab.
