Q. What do you see as the biggest issue for the office you are seeking?
A. As a result of walking my zone and talking with the voters I have been able to identify 3 priorities: infrastructure, economic development and community development.
Q. What are your qualifications for the office you are seeking?
A. I have a diversified portfolio of community service, ranging from city committees to civic and social organizations. I have held positions ranging from recording secretary to president. I have created policy on some boards and interpreted policy on others.
Q. If you win, what's the first issue you will tackle?
A. Regardless of how prepared and qualified one is for a position, there remains a learning curve. Once I'm settled in office, I will assess what realistically can be tackled first.
Q. If you lose, will you continue in politics?
A. At this particular juncture, I can say yes.
