Daytona Magic is sponsoring its 12th annual Festival of Magic, which has become the official Florida State Magic Convention, from Nov. 2-4.

The Florida State Magic Convention has been put on for more than four decades.

During this weekend, which is held beachside at the Daytona Beach Resort and Conference Center, magicians will participate in both close-up and stage competitions, attend workshops given by world famous professional magicians, see a complete close-up show, cabaret style show complete with dinner and a world class stage show at the News Journal Center auditorium.

The Saturday night stage show, "A Night Of Magic" is open to the public and features Los Angeles magician Martin Lewis; from Barcelona, Spain, the duo of Brando & Silvana; Las Vegas comedy magician Mark Kornhauser; and from the hit NBC series "America's Got Talent," the unique magic and music of Jarrett & Raja. The show time for the Saturday night show is 8 p.m. All reserved seats are $35.

The convention offers a full weekend of fun for magic enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels; from the beginning performer to the seasoned veteran, there will be something for everyone. Fifteen of the best performers from around the world will be on hand to give lectures, shows and more.

This year's line-up includes: Harry Allen, Brando & Silvana, Al Callus, Paul Draper, Daniel Garcia, Scott Humston, Jarrett & Raja, Mark Kornhauser, Martin Lewis, Rich Marotta, Christian Schenk, Tim Sonefelt, Jaina Taylor, Garrett Thomas and Trigg Watson.

The convention wraps up on Sunday with its magic auction.

Hours are noon to midnight Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. to noon Sunday.

Tickets for both events are available at Daytona Magic, 136 S. Beach St., Daytona Beach.
