ST. LUCIE COUNTY -
Interested organizations, corporations and individuals are invited to purchase naming rights for the newly constructed intermodal transit facility.
Sponsorship can include naming rights for the facility, bus bays, benches, employee lounge, park and ride spaces and more.
The ITF is located at 725 Avenue D in Fort Pierce with the Fort Pierce redevelopment area. The community is committed to ongoing revitalization of this neighborhood.
The facility was constructed through a collaboration between the Federal Transit Administration, Florida Department of Transportation, the FPRA and the board of county commissioners.
The ITF is the main transfer hub of three of the fixed bus routes. It includes five bus bays, a drivers' lounge, a manned information kiosk, ADA accessible restrooms, as well as seating and vending machines.
The facility honors the renowned Florida Highwaymen painters with a wall-size mosaic mural by a local artist. This public art is significant portraying a signature scene of the Highwaymen, a royal poinciana tree.
It was also selected by the Federal Transit Administration's Washington office as a key site for the president's "Build a Week Tour." Secretary Peter Rogoff visited the area from Washington to spotlight the site and its role as a stimulus fund project.
The structure has been highlighted in several local and state media publications.
The county offers the opportunity to secure naming rights for the facility for a minimum proposal of $75,000 for a five-year period.
The ongoing revitalization and increased use of the location by residents and visitors presents a unique opportunity for high profile promotion of products, services and name recognition. Other sponsorships at the site are also available.
