An Indian River State College nursing student health fair will take place from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Participants can learn how to take care of their health in a fun and engaging way.
IRSC nursing students are bringing this free health fair to the Koblegard Student Union on main campus. The health fair is for anyone interested in learning about ways to improve their health and wellness and is free to everyone.
There will be information for every age group and free giveaways. Attendees will learn about important health topics including: diabetes mellitus (with free blood glucose testing) and nutrition with free healthy snacks,pets and health, skin cancer detection, HIV/AIDS, ovarian cancer, alcohol and drug dependence, breast cancer, dental health, Alzheimer's disease, the benefits of exercise, smoking cessation and more will be available.
The main campus is located at 3209 Virginia Ave., Fort Pierce.
