HOBE SOUND -
The Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce will host its 27th annual Christmas parade on Dec. 1.
In addition to the parade, there will be a holiday arts and crafts stroll from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dixie Highway next to Taste Restaurant. The parade begins at 1 pm. and the route is along Bridge Road and Dixie Highway.
The Hobe Sound Christmas parade is sponsored by Treasure Coast Irrigation/Rood Landscape and is free to the public. Supporting sponsors include Bridge Boat and RV Storage, the Hobe Sound Soccer Club and Metz Construction Company.
Families are encouraged to come early and enjoy hopefully cool weather, holiday craft and treat vendors and the holiday parade.
The arts and crafts stroll will feature locally made items that are sure to make great holiday presents for friends and family members.
Floats and decorated vehicles are created by local businesses, schools and organizations. Hear holiday musical selections from Dancensound DJ and local middle and high school bands. Kids can meet Ronald McDonald and Santa Claus.
