VERO BEACH - This year, Indian River Charter High School will hold its annual fall fundraiser, "Hopelessly Romantic," Nov. 14-16.
The show is an event completely written, composed, organized and performed by students and faculty at IRCHS with an educational and artistic focus on a selected period in history.
This year's show was written by students Annalise Miller and Darrel Ellis.
Show patrons will be carried away to the 1800s and "board" a steamship, where they will join immigrants on their humorous, whimsical journey to America.
Each night doors will open at 5:30 p.m.; show goers can enjoy exhibits focusing on science, culture and history of the Romantic era.
A dinner show featuring choral, orchestra, drama, dance and jazz band students will begin promptly at 7 p.m.
The show will be held at the Richardson Center, located just blocks from IRCHS on the campus of Indian River State College.
Tickets are $45 per person which includes the show, a four-course dinner and a $20 donation to IRCHS.
Sponsorships are available.
