Photo competition and exhibition at the King Center
"All That Art" is a juried photo art competition and exhibition, held at the King Center, and sponsored by The Creative Arts Foundation of Brevard.
Take-in in for photos is Monday, Oct 29 at the King Center Rotunda from 8:30-10 a.m.; 62 photos will be selected.
On Monday, Nov. 5, juried photos will be hung for a one-month display in the Harris Gallery in the King Center and at 4 p.m. (same day), a gala with presentation of awards and prizes from $500, $250, $200 and 10 $50 honorable mentions.
You may submit as many as five photos.
The fees are: first photo is $25, and $10 for each addition photo.

Indian River Potters Guild registration open
If you are inclined to make some presents for the holidays or just find a place to get away from it all, Indian River Potters' Guild is offering classes in mosaic art and fused glass, while continuing classes in sculpture, hand-building and wheel-thrown pottery.
Try your hand at something new. No experience is necessary for any of the classes, and individual attention is given to each student.

Indian River Potters is offering a new class for homeschooled children in sculpture and wheel thrown pottery, beginning Jan. 9, for six weeks, every Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. Cost is $115, including clay.

Fifth Avenue Holiday Craft Show
The Holiday Craft Show at the Fifth Avenue Art Gallery, Friday, Nov. 2 through Monday, Dec. 31, has added more handmade, one-of-a-kind crafts, both functional and decorative, from the country's best artisans.
There will be blown glass, handmade dolls and books, pottery, unique Christmas ornaments, jewelry and more. It is a place to get all your holiday shopping done, with unique gifts to please the pickiest person, in all price ranges.
