People on Social Security can have love lives? Seriously? Come find out for yourselves at Lake Helen's Shoestring Theatre as they perform "Sex Please, We're Sixty" opening at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 380 S. Goodwin St., Lake Helen.
This romp is a farcical mixture of unrealistic expectations and pharmaceuticals. It tells a story about those who may have lost their youth, but not their attitude. The action revolves around the antics of seniors visiting the Rose Cottage Bed and Breakfast. Take one scientist and the reluctant recipient of his affection, three lovelorn guests and an aging Casanova next door. Mix in that "little blue pill" and see what happens. Seriously? Not really. This one is just for fun.
"Sex Please, We're Sixty" is a farce involving a great deal of cavorting and canoodling by mostly senior citizens.
"Sex Please, We're Sixty" will be presented at the Lake Helen Shoestring Theatre Nov. 2-4 and 9-11 and 16-18 with Friday and Saturday night shows at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m.
