It's Energy Awareness Month
Florida Power & Light is marking Energy Awareness Month by helping 1,000 small- and medium-sized businesses in Florida shape-up and BEE-healthy.
FPL's Business Energy Evaluation is a first step for a business to get "Energy Fit." FPL energy efficiency experts will meet with business customers and develop customized BEEs showing them ways to save even more - in most cases five percent or more on lighting and cooling costs.
The personalized, cost-saving recommendations are tailored to each business and will answer businesses energy use questions, including:
.Where do energy dollars go?
.How can energy bills be reduced?
The BEE is especially recommended when a business is planning improvements, expansions, or building new facilities. Businesses that want to be part of the buzz can schedule their own BEE at www.FPL.com/BEE.
