Melbourne Regional Chamber Better Business of the Month
The Melbourne Regional Chamber and its Better Business Council has recognized Heron Financial Partners as the September recipient of its Better Business of the Month Award.

Take Stock in Children Council welcomes new leaders
Brevard's Take Stock in Children Leadership Council has announced the election of two new officers.
Ben Buchanan, a council member for 13 years, will assume the role of chairman. Mr. Buchanan is a vice president at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, with the Gear Buchanan Group, located in Melbourne.
Bill Zoby, who has served on the Council for seven years, is the new vice chairman. Mr. Zoby, a Melbourne resident, is a marketing and sales consultant for consumer products.
Take Stock in Children provides a unique opportunity for low-income, at-risk students in Brevard County to escape the cycle of poverty through education. The program offers students college scholarships, mentoring services and hope for a successful future.
Volunteer mentors meet with their students each week at school throughout the school year.
