Q. What do you see as the biggest issue for the office you are seeking?
A. First and foremost, we must create a pathway to success for every student; whatever it takes.
Q. What are your qualifications for the office you are seeking?
Stay-at-home mom - still an honorable profession, master's degree in social work from Florida State University.
Owned a counseling business
Our Children First - worked with at-risk families and children.
Parent-Caregiver Child Advocate of the Year Award.
Homeschooler - my greatest joy.
Q. If you win, what's the first issue you will tackle?
A. I will find out from all the principals in my district what they need to help every teacher succeed in helping every student achieve his or her maximum potential. Then I will work to identify and provide all the resources needed to accomplish that goal.
Q. If you lose, will you continue in politics?
A. I do not have plans to continue in politics at this time. I do, however, plan to stay engaged in helping Volusia County Students become no. 1 in academic achievement.
