Kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Oct. 2, dozens of students, faculty and staff on the Daytona State College Deltona campus gathered to show their support. Cosmetology students created a "human pink ribbon" in honor of the awareness month. The college community, across its five campuses, is stepping up, including the Bachelor's in Applied Science in Supervision and Management Program coordinating a team for the Oct. 27 walk and nursing students raising funds for the American Cancer Society, Making Strides campaign.
