Candlelight vigil taking place Oct. 25

The Martin County Narcotics Overdose Prevention Education task force will host a candlelight vigil at Memorial Park in Stuart at 6 p.m. in memory of those who die from accidental drug poisonings each year. The public is invited to attend.

Bank to host seminars

Seacoast Wealth Management is presenting a seminar on Social Security, along with Prudential Annuities entitled "Social Security + Self Security = Retirement Readiness" on Oct. 16 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Seacoast National Bank Cove Road branch and again on Oct.17 from 4-5:30 p.m. at the Seacoast National Bank Hutchinson Island (Jensen Beach) branch.

Seating for both sessions is very limited, but space is still available.

Cyber safety expert to speak at library

Keith Dunn, a cyber safety expert and speaker, will present information and resources on Internet safety for youth of all ages to parents Oct. 18 at 5:30 p.m. in the John F. Armstrong wing of the Blake Library, 2351 S.E. Monterey Road, Stuart. The event is free. Pre-registration is required.
