MARTIN COUNTY -
The Avenue D Boys and Girls choirs will perform at the sixth annual friendship luncheon for Pink Tie Friends on Nov.10 at Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club in Palm City. "Last year we were so fortunate to have the Avenue D Boys Choir perform for our guests, donors and special attendees. This year, we have raised the performance bar even higher with a joint performance of the Avenue D Boys and Girls Choir as our featured entertainment," said Judy Schilder, president of Pink Tie Friends.
"Our special performers are fine tuning their routine to match the excitement and grandeur of our luncheon at Harbour Ridge, so those attending will not only experience elegant surroundings, a world-class menu and an atmosphere sure to please everyone, but they will have world-class entertainment to match."
"This is one of our favorite annual events because Pink Tie Friends touch the lives of so many people in our communities," said Mary Hendricks, director of the Avenue D Boys Choir.
"This year our boys and girls will raise their voices in honor of the job our Pink Tie Friends do in helping breast cancer patients survive on the Treasure Coast."
Once again this year, Macy's Department Store has taken a lead position in the event, but other sponsorships are available on a limited basis.
A special guest emcee will also be featured again this year.
Further details on the luncheon will be announced over the upcoming weeks.
Tickets are on sale for $75 per person on the Pink Tie website at www.PinkTieFriends.org. Those who would like to sponsor the event can call (772) 486-6707.
