FELLSMERE - Fellsmere voters going to the polls for the November general election will be asked to select three candidates from a field of four to lead the city as council members.

Michael Barone, Jessica Salgado and incumbents Joel Tyson and Fernando Herrera are all on the ballot.

The third seat up for grabs was vacated by Councilman Daniel Naranjo, who is not running for re-election.

Mr. Barone and Mr. Herrera were contacted multiple times by Hometown News for interviews, but never responded.

Mr. Herrera is currently mayor pro tem and has served on Fellsmere City Council since 2002.
