INDIAN RIVER COUNTY -
The Salvation Army of Indian River County is in need of volunteer bell ringers for the 2012 Red Kettle Campaign kicking off Nov. 16.
As many volunteers as possible are needed to cover two-hour shifts at more than 15 locations throughout the county.
Some of the locations include Publix, Wal-Mart, Kmart, Winn Dixie, The Post Office, Walgreens, JC Penney's and Sam's Club. Hours of ringing are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at most locations.
Churches, civic organization, company's, schools and service clubs can adopt a kettle location for the five-week campaign and volunteer to ring the bell and help those less fortunate during the greatest giving time of year.
