INDIAN RIVER COUNTY - Indian River Medical Center Foundation volunteers are ready to tee off on Dec. 3 for the 23rd annual Swing For Health golf classic at Hawk's Nest Golf Club in Vero Beach.
Tournament chairmen, Andrew Hartline and Theodore Perry, along with committee members William Cooney, Cheryl Deacon, Sam Murdough and Debbie Sheridan are partnering with Proctor Construction, Rehmann Group, Graves Brothers Company, Murphy & Walker, P.L, physicians, vendors and local businesses to make this a successful event to benefit IRMC.
Registration will begin promptly at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon. The cost is $275 per player or $1,100 per foursome, which includes a boxed lunch, round of golf, followed by an open-bar barbeque cookout, entertainment and awards.
This year, players have the opportunity to win raffle prizes, as well as bid on a 14-person executive suite to cheer on the Miami Dolphins at Sun Life Stadium when they battle the Jacksonville Jaguars on Dec. 16 or the Buffalo Bills on Dec. 23.
