Q. What do you see as the biggest issue for the office you are seeking?
A. The most important upcoming issue will be the need to provide our residents with the services they require. Proper funding for public safety and all the city hall services will be a major challenge for the council during the next few years.
Q. What are your qualifications for the office you are seeking?
A. As a former council member and Shores vice mayor, I have a proven record of experience and leadership that I will bring to the council to move our city forward. I will work with our council to meet the city challenges in a professional and courteous manner.
Q. If you win, what's the first issue you will tackle?
A. After the election, I will be concerned that our city banners, which advertise "Life is Better Here," will continue to have real meaning. Our efforts must include a more attractive A1A.
Q. If you lose, will you continue in politics?
A. I arrived in the Shores in 1988 from the Washington, D.C. area. I have always been involved in the political arena and will continue to do so.
