INDIAN RIVER COUNTY - In 1999, Rossway Moore Taylor & Swan, attorneys and counselors at law, established a diversified law firm to serve the ever-evolving needs of the Treasure Coast.
The founding partners have built a firm that combines a wide array of legal services with an emphasis on efficiency, cost effectiveness and compassion.
In an effort to maximize the firm's charitable impact and to deepen their bond with the community, the partners created the Rossway Moore Taylor & Swan Foundation as a branch of the firm devoted solely to giving. Funded with contributions from the firm's profits, the foundation becomes a partner in the firm's success, so as to benefit the interests of the local community.
Managed by partner Tom Tierney, the foundation annually solicits proposals for assistance in the technological development of Indian River County charitable organizations.
To be eligible for a grant, an application must be completed and submitted by qualifying nonprofits for consideration, through Dec. 1.
In January 2013, the foundation board will conduct a review of all submitted applications and make a determination of which entities will be awarded a grant for the current year.
