ICI Homes names new sales associate

ICI Homes has named Elizabeth "Shannon" Penett as new sales associate at Chelsea Place and Breakaway Trails in Ormond Beach.

Rosemary Messina, vice president of sales and marketing for ICI Homes, said Ms. Penett has more than 10 years experience in new home sales and is a graduate of UCLA with a bachelor's degree in business economics.

Daytona Beach ad club to host luncheon

The American Advertising Federation-Daytona Beach will host Kristen-Lee Derstein, marketing director of pencil-maker Dixon-Ticonderoga.

Ms. Lee-Derstein will discuss the rebuilding of her company's American brand.

The event will be Oct. 16 at Vince Carter's Restaurant, 2150 LPGA Blvd, Daytona Beach, beginning with a networking reception from 11:30 a.m. to noon, followed by a luncheon and presentation from noon to 1 p.m.

Admission to the luncheon is free for students and full members of the federation; $25 for standard members; and $35 for non-members.

Florida Hospital DeLand welcomes director of medical surgical nursing

Florida Hospital DeLand has selected Rosalie Baugh as director of medical surgical nursing.

Ms. Baugh will be responsible for the medical and oncology, surgical and orthopedics, as well as cardiac and pulmonary nursing units.

Ms. Baugh has 12 years of nursing director experience and spent nearly 30 years at Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, Ind., in various roles. Most recently, she served as the service line director for post-surgical/medical telemetry and rehab at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, Texas.

Ms. Baugh earned a Masters in Nursing Administration at Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. She is certified in progressive care, advanced cardiac life support and basic life support.
