MARTIN COUNTY - In response to an ever expanding national and international boating community and client base, Whiticar Boat Works has launched an online storefront.
With a longstanding history throughout the Treasure Coast Whiticar Boat Works can now accept orders and assist clients anywhere, anytime.
Marine products available range from filters to engines and a secondary store offers branded merchandise, including a book written by Curt Whiticar, Whiticar Boat Works founder.
For customers who are unable to find an item in stock online, Whiticar Boat Works will place a custom order through any of its more than 40 dealers and distributors.
"We've already had orders come in from the Bahamas, Canada and as far away as Norway, so we're happy to report that our business is now more accessible internationally, and we can offer our services and products to everyone in a more convenient fashion," said Jim Dragseth, Whiticar Boat Works president .
The company emphasized that while they are keeping up with changes and improvements in technology, their traditional values of outstanding customer service from their family owned and operated business will remain the same.
Located on the Treasure Coast and designated a "Clean Boat Yard" by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Whiticar Boat Works has remained at the forefront of the boating community and marine industry since 1947 because of its devotion to quality work and passion for the boating lifestyle.
Evolving from the original boat yard located in Stuart, Whiticar has established new divisions of the company, including: Shearwater Marine in 1996; Whiticar Marine North in 2003 and Whiticar Yacht Sales in 2004, all of which are owned and operated by the same family the area has come to know and trust for more than 60 years.
