INDIAN RIVER COUNTY - A one-day beginning publisher class will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 29. Cost is $33.
An introduction to the computer workshop will cover computer basics and include Internet and email use. Class will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday, Oct. 15 and 17. Cost is $56.
A one-day beginning PowerPoint course will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 13. Cost is $33.
A beginner Spanish course will be offered from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. The class will run from Oct. 18 to Dec. 13. Cost is $124 including book.
An armed security guard course will be offered from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday to Friday from Oct. 22-29. Cost is $141.
A GED preparation class is designed so students can work at their own pace online or in a small, comfortable and quiet setting. All students must register in person and attend a GED orientation. Once GED orientation is completed students may use the online option or attend class.
GED classes are available at the Adult Education School in Vero and Sebastian River High School. Cost is $30 per term ($90 per year).
