Planning for the fifth annual charity golf tournament to benefit Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services is in full swing.

The tournament is scheduled for Oct. 13 at the Club Med Sandpiper Bay Golf Club in Port St. Lucie. Registration, including a continental breakfast, will begin at 7:45 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. An awards luncheon will follow the round of play.

Treasure Coast Harley Davidson will provide a FLST Heritage Softail Classic Motorcycle for a "hole in one" prize.

In addition there will be three other "hole in one" prizes in the tournament: and flat screen television, a set of Callaway Irons golf clubs and roundtrip domestic airfare for two.

Also, each registered golfer will receive a certificate for a free golf club and a $15-off certificate from Golfdiscount.com.

Hole sponsorship signs are available for $100 to highlight your business. Individual golfer registration is $100 and includes breakfast, lunch, cart, green fees and goody bag.

Bronze, silver and gold sponsorships are available starting at $500.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services is a nonprofit Treasure Coast community resource supported in part by the United Ways of Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties, Wachovia Wells Fargo Foundation, Publix Supermarket Charities and private donations. DHHS has been providing services to the estimated 90,000 individuals with hearing loss in our community since 1988.
