Coastal Community Church of Sebastian will sponsor a free block party barbecue on Sept. 15.
The party will take place from 3-6 at Riverview Park located on U.S. 1 and C.R.512 in Sebastian.
There will be inflatable bounce houses, a bungee run and carnival games. A live D.J. will play music favorites and there will be giveaways from local businesses.
The community will be treated to slow-roasted, barbecue pork. Hotdogs, pizza samples, cotton candy, funnel cakes and snow cones will also be available.
The church welcomes additional businesses to donate prizes or food for the event.
Event sponsorship is also available. However, no goods or services will be sold at the event. If a business can provide something for free that would enhance the event for families in the community, please contact the church now to see how a business can partner.
Coastal Community Church worships at 10 a.m. on Sundays in the auditorium of Sebastian River Middle School. Nursery, children, youth and young adult programs are available.
