Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida is seeking information on the whereabouts of convicted sex offender Merrill Maurice Calhoun. As a convicted sex offender, the 29-year-old Calhoun is required under Florida law to regularly update his address with law enforcement. His last registered address was on West New Hampshire Avenue in DeLand, but his current whereabouts are unknown. On Aug. 30, a judge issued an arrest warrant for Calhoun for failure of a sex offender to properly register. The warrant calls for Calhoun to be taken into custody and held on $2,500 bond.
Calhoun is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. If you see Calhoun, don't try to apprehend him.
