People gather to listen to six Caribbean/Beach/Reggae bands perform during the Friends of the Bandshell Summer Concert Series finale last Saturday. The free concert series concluded with Blues on the Beach Sunday, Sept. 2. Friends of the Bandshell is a not-for-profit which was established in 1996 to help preserve the historic beachside treasure by bringing a repertoire of performing artists to area residents and visiting tourists.
