FORT PIERCE - Fort Pierce police are seeking information that could lead them to the driver of a vehicle that ran over and killed a woman Saturday night, police said in a press release.

Lauren Hill, 32, of 3550 South U.S. 1, died at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and Heart Institute after being struck by a vehicle, Sgt. Dennis McWilliams said in a press release.

The traffic crash occurred in the 3500 block of South U.S. 1.

Police are hoping someone who was driving in the area around 9 p.m. will come forward with information, he said.

Anyone with information should contact Officer Fred Pate, the department's traffic homicide investigator, at (772) 467-6889. They can also remain anonymous and call Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at (800) 273-TIPS or text a tip 151 to 274637.

Tipsters could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
