INDIAN RIVER COUNTY - SunUp ARC introduced its newest program for young developmentally disabled individuals: youth outreach.
The professional staff has designed a curriculum which will feature two main activities per session. Activities will range from art to Zumba, and everything in between.
The sessions will be held at the west campus, (previously Sun Up) located at 2455 Fifth St. Southwest in Vero Beach.
Thanks to a grant from the John's Island Foundation, the organization is able to provide this service at no charge.
Space is limited to 15 individuals. Applicants are subject to certain criteria. Fall semester classes will be as follows: Friday evening sessions from 5-8 p.m.: Sept. 14, Oct. 5, Nov. 2 and Dec. 8.
Saturday afternoon sessions from 1-4 p.m.: Sept. 29, Oct. 20, Nov. 17 and Dec. 14.
SunUp ARC operates on three campuses, two in Vero Beach and one in Sebastian.
