PALM BAY - When you walk into the Glad Eye Care and Aesthetics office in Palm Bay, you are greeted by friendly smiles with a backdrop of endless awards bestowed upon Dr. Marshall Gladnick.
Opened in 2004, Glad Eye Care and Aesthetic Surgery Center specializes in eye care treatments, as well as a variety of skin aesthetic services.
Dr. Gladnick and his staff strive to ensure their clients are happy when they leave.
In addition to great customer service, the center offers a state-of-the-art facility, featuring the latest technologies, making Glad a one-stop-shop.
A Vietnam flight surgeon, Dr. Gladnick completed his residency in ophthalmology from New York University and established his own practice in 1971. He has taught around the world in England, Scotland, Germany, India and 186 other countries.
Boasting an extensive resume, Dr. Gladnick was recently awarded the "35 Consecutive Years of Membership" award from the American Academy of Opthalmology.
The amount of services that the facility offers is numerous, ranging from general ophthalmology, eyelid surgery, the ability to make glasses on-site, a diabetes and glaucoma testing center and eye screening centers, as well as chemical peels, microdermabrasion and cosmeceuticals.
"What we try to do is have the top quality treatments right here in Palm Bay," Dr. Gladnick said. "You go other places and you see several different doctors and nurses and practitioners when you go in to see a doctor. Here, you see one doctor from beginning to end."
Dr. Gladnick strives to keep his prices low and competitive, even with the most cutting-edge procedures like Pellevé, a Food and Drug Administration-cleared facial treatment for wrinkles, without surgery, Latisse, permanent hair reduction, leg vein removal, Botox and many more services and treatments.
Will all of the on-hand lasers and machinery, glasses can be made in a matter of hours at the facility itself.
However, the important thing that the Dr. Gladnick strives to achieve is personal service, more than high-end technology.
Complimentary with each facial, offered by the team, is a 3-D spectral analysis, using infrared technology to take a picture of the client's face. The certified aesthetician will analyze the picture and explain any problems or concerns that they see from the image, including sun damage and other skin conditions.
"We can blow the pictures up 40,000 times, showing the problem areas and asking 'What do you want to do?'" Dr. Gladnick said. "We have the machinery, and it's expensive, but we offer that service complimentary. People can go around with bad skin and get all sorts of things done, but it doesn't help. We have technology to have it penetrate the skin to make sure the products work."
The business continues to flourish, seeking new cutting-edge technology to facilitate its customers and keep them happy with an excellent overall experience that is light on the wallet.
