Cecil G. Brumley, a business columnist for Hometown News since February, has been named the publication's associate managing editor for Volusia County.
Mr. Brumley has many years of experience as an editor at daily and weekly newspapers in Florida and Louisiana, and has been in the Daytona Beach area for more than 15 years. A Louisiana native, he is a journalism graduate of the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
He will oversee the editorial content of the five editions of Hometown News in Volusia County.
