Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida is seeking information on the whereabouts of convicted sex offender Tyrone Jefferson.
As a convicted sex offender, the 36-year-old Jefferson is required under Florida law to regularly update his address with law enforcement. His last registered address was on North Myrtle Avenue in New Smyrna Beach. He also had a previously listed address on Cannon Street in Daytona Beach.
On Aug. 13, a judge issued an arrest warrant for Jefferson for failure of a sex offender to properly register. The warrant calls for Jefferson to be taken into custody and held on $10,000 bond.
Jefferson is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. If you see Jefferson, don't try to apprehend him.
