.All British Car Club: This club is dedicated to preservation, maintenance and enjoyment of all British automobiles. Members gather monthly to exchange information, technical tips and to show off their cars. This active group offers many special events. .Alzheimer caregiver support group: This group meets at 1:30 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month at Coronado Community United Methodist Church, Hospitality House, 201 S. Peninsula Ave., New Smyrna Beach. For more information, call (386) 238-0066.

.American Business Women's Association: The New Smyrna Beach chapter meets the third Tuesday of each month. Meetings include networking at 6:30 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. and a guest speaker at 7:45 p.m. For more information, call (386) 423-4384.

.American Italian Association: This is a charitable, fraternal organization for men and women of Italian descent or who are married to an Italian. The organization meets at 7 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month at the American Legion Post 17, 619 Canal St., New Smyrna Beach. The public may attend. For more information, call (386) 428-8259.

.American Legion Auxiliary: Unit 285 in Edgewater has a membership meeting at 7 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month, 4497 S. U.S. Highway 1 in Edgewater. Membership renewals for 20012-13 are being accepted at the post home, 4497 S. U.S. Highway 1 in Edgewater . Also, the auxiliary is accepting applications for membership. Those eligible, with relation to the veteran, include mother, wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, grandmother and all veterans. .Christian Cancer Conquerors: This support group for cancer survivors, family, friends and those interested in supporting cancer survivorship meets from 6:30-8 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month at First Baptist Church of New Smyrna Beach in the Family Life Center, 200 Faulkner St. There is no cost to join, and the public may attend. .Citizen Observer Program: This group of volunteers helps the Sheriff's Office fight crime and patrol neighborhoods in Volusia County. For an application and more information, call (386) 672-0285.

.Coronado/Mainland Shuffleboard Club: During the main season (October-April) the Club meets at 1 p.m. every day except Sunday. In the off season (May-September) the club meets at 9 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and

Saturdays, and Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. Free lessons are available for new members.

.Council on Aging Neighborhood Respite Program: This program offers caregivers of senior citizens a break. The senior will participate in supervised activities while the caregiver has time to themselves. Funding is available for all caregivers who meet the criteria. The program is held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each Wednesday at Coronado United Methodist Church in New Smyrna Beach. .East Coast Cruisers Car Club: This club meets at the Edgewater Library, 103 Indian River Blvd., the second Thursday of each month and hosts a car show on Canal Street the second Saturday of the month. .Garden Club: The New Smyrna Beach Garden Club meets the first Wednesday of each month beginning in October through May. For reservations and information, call (386)409-7912.

.Gifts of Love Community Coalition Red Wagon: This volunteer, nonprofit community group serves those less fortunate with food assistance, programs, back-to-school, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and complements other community resources. This group relies 100 percent on donations. Donations and volunteers are needed; call (386) 423-4441.

.Good Food Co-op: Members meet at 10 a.m. once at month at the New Smyrna Beach Library. This is a nonprofit organization that enables individuals to order quality food, supplements and cleaning and personal care items. For more information, call (386) 428-2394.

.Grief Support Team: This support group, for those who are mourning the death of a loved one, meets from 1:30-3 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library, 1001 S. Dixie Highway. For more information, call (386) 427-2523.

.Harmony Sound Waves Women's Barbershop Chorus: All women of Volusia County may join this four-part a cappella barbershop-style singing. Members meet at 7 p.m. each Monday at the First Presbyterian Church, 509 Magnolia St., New Smyrna Beach. Greg Patterson is the director. Line dancing: The New Smyrna Beach Parks and Recreation department holds line dance classes. Classes for beginners and intermediates will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Women's Club, 403 Magnolia St., New Smyrna Beach. Classes are held from 6:30 to 9:10 p.m. each Monday and 9 to 11:40 a.m. each Wednesday. Each session is 12 weeks. One class per week for residents is $52. Two classes per week is $75. There is an additional $8 fee for non-residents. Newcomers may try one class before joining. The instructor is June Lewis. She will meet with newcomers after the beginner session to answer any questions. To pre-register, which is not required, visit the park's office at 1000 Live Oak, New Smyrna Beach. .New Smyrna Bass Anglers 50+ Club: Meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. the second Thursday of each month at the New Smyrna Beach Library, 1001 S. Dixie Freeway. . New Smyrna Beach Duplicate Bridge Club: The Club has two games of ACBL Duplicate Bridge, each game has three stratas. Games are at the Coronado Civic Center next to the shuffleboard courts on Flagler Avenue. Games are played each Monday at 1:30 p.m. and Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Partners are available. .New Smyrna Homing Pigeon Club: This club is located on Cucumber Road in New Smyrna Beach. Membership is available for all ages. Homing pigeons have competed all over the world for hundreds of years and are favored as a family-oriented sport. Anyone who would like to learn more about this sport is welcome. .New Smyrna Beach Parrot Head Club: This club meets the second Saturday of each month. Its purpose is preserving and improving the environment. .People for Drug Free Youth: The board meets at 4 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library. The public may attend. Volunteers are needed. .Pirates Loot Investment Club: This club meets from 4-6 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of each month in New Smyrna Beach. This club is part of Better Investing and is a non-profit, all volunteer educational club. Emphasis is on methods developed by Better Investing. .Senior Tennis Group: Senior citizens who are interesting in playing tennis may join this southeast Volusia County group. Players meet at 7 a.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Whistle Stop Park on Roberts Road in Edgewater. All skill levels are welcome. For more information, call (386) 428-2881.

.Serene Container Gardening Club: This group meets every third Saturday of the month from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The purpose is the educate gardeners on how easy it is to use glazed clay pottery to decorate or grow your own food. Master gardeners and special horticulturists will give live presentations and share knowledge in the art of container gardening, Light refreshments are served. .SEV Golf League: This club meets at 5 p.m. each Monday at the Hidden Lakes Golf Club. The format is two-person scramble (best ball), blind draw (new partner each week) and nine foursome, with a shotgun start. The cost is $20 per week, which includes greens fees, cart and prizes. .Southeast Volusia Camera Club: This club meets at 7 p.m. the fourth Monday of each month at the Edgewater Public Library. Education and competition meetings are open to the public. .Volusia/Flagler Surfrider Chapter: This chapter focuses on issues important to the local community, including beach access, water quality, no-surfing zones and economic no-driving zones. .Divorce Care: This group, designed for participants to interact with others who are experiencing similar separation or divorce circumstances, meets from 6:30-8 p.m. each Thursday at Bella Vista Baptist Church, 3232 S. Ridgewood Ave., Edgewater. Participants will learn coping skills and make new friends who have been through divorce. For more information, call (386) 428-4747.

.Heartland Experiential Learning Programs: HELP is offering free and donation-based counseling services for Volusia County residents through its new "House-Call" program. Available services include: in-home visitation, telephone consultation, animal-assisted visitation, eco-counseling (nature-based settings), and E-counseling (web-based correspondence). .Memoir Writing Class: Relive the best years of your life and create a personal legacy. A free creative writing class, " Turning Memories into Memoirs," is now in its third year and welcomes new members. The group meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 10:30 a.m. at the Brannon Center. Participants will experiment with different techniques for capturing life experiences in a supportive workshop environment. Models will be provided by a professional instructor in autobiographical poetry, essays and stories of successful writers. All backgrounds are welcomed.
