But incident has no connection to movie
PORT ST. LUCIE - Port St. Lucie Police arrested a 16-year-old juvenile following an altercation after the July 25 showing of "Dark Knight," at the Rave Theater, according to a press release.
The incident had no direct connection to the latest installation of the Batman movie or any ties to the mass shooting during the showing of "Dark Knight," in Aurora, Colo., the press release said.
Police said in the press release that a couple in their 20s was accosted by a group of four males after exiting the theater.
After one or more of the four males punched the faces of the man and woman, the male victim fired a gun, hitting the hat of one of the group confronting him and the window of the theater.
Police have not released the name of the juvenile.
The male victim had a concealed weapons permit, said Master Sgt. Frank Sabol, public information officer for the Port St. Lucie Police Department.
