their camp work
The Summer 2012 Camp Create and Teen Art Academy Youth Art Exhibition will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at the Museum of Florida Art, 600 N. Woodland Blvd., DeLand,
An exhibition of collaborative works made by the 4 to 12-year-old campers and selected works from the teen participants will be featured.
The Guild of the Museum of Florida Art will provide hot dogs, drinks, and chips at no charge as long as supply last.

The Museum of Florida Art is featuring the following exhibits through Nov. 25.
"From The Outside In"
featuring the works of Purvis Young.
"Survival Series" featuring the works of Barbara Neijna.
"Related Alternatives" featuring the Works of Kyle and Jim Jipson.
Galleries are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. General admission is $5. Sunday hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

Military families can visit
Museum of Florida Art free
The Museum of Florida Art is participating in Blue Star Museums program through Labor Day.
The museum is one of more than 1,800 museums across America to offer free admission to military personnel and their families this summer in collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and the Department of Defense.

'Much Ado about Nothing'
auditions scheduled
Auditions for "Much Ado about Nothing" will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at the Gateway Center for the Arts, 17-92 at Saxon in DeBary.
The show will run Nov. 9 to 18, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.
