Disney bring training program to Ocean Center
Disney Institute is bringing its Disney's Approach to Selection, Training & Engagement program to The Ocean Center in Daytona Beach on Sept. 27.
Sponsored by the Southeast Volusia Chamber of Commerce, the full-day event will teach area professionals how to train, develop and retain skilled employees who understand and convey the values of their business to achieve positive economic results.
Program registration is $325 for Southeast Volusia Chamber of Commerce members and $375 for non-members and includes all course materials, continental breakfast and lunch.

Arc of Volusia promotes team members
The Arc of Volusia is announcing promotions for five team members with collectively 97 years of Intellectual Developmental Disabilities experience.
The team will lead The Arc clients at two locations, the 100 Jimmy Huger Circle, Daytona Beach, and 1738 Patterson Drive, DeLand.
Leslie Kieler was named program director.
Julie Bluel was named Daytona center supervisor.
Alejandro "Alex" Howard will be ABE educational specialist.
Ken Edberg will be DeLand Center supervisor.
Susan Duckworth-Ross will be an educational specialist.
