STUART - With more than a decade of producing professional theater on the Treasure Coast, auditions are being held for the chance to perform at StarStruck's state-of-the-art theater located in Stuart.
Auditions will be held July 29, with sign up starting at 5 p.m. All roles are compensated.
Singing actors: Please prepare 16 bars of an up-tempo and 16 bars of a ballad from one of the shows in the season and a one minute monologue of your choice from any play. Please bring sheet music in your correct key. No a cappella singing or CD accompaniment.
Non-singing actors: Please prepare a one- minute comedic monologue and a one- minute dramatic monologue of your choice from any play.
Callbacks will be held July 30.
Please bring at least three copies of your headshot with resume stapled together or printed directly on the back.
There are no child roles in the professional season except for the teenage role of Josh in "9 to 5 The Musical."
Crystal, Ronnette and Chiffon, the three singing street urchins in "Little Shop of Horrors," may be cast as teenage girls, as well.
