As promised, Hudson's Furniture Store was able to donate $2,000 of proceeds from its recent customer appreciation night to the Children's Miracle Network.
The Children's Miracle Network raises money for 170 children's hospitals across North America. The foundation has raised more than $4 billion to support research and training, purchase equipment and pay for uncompensated care.
"Having children of my own, the work of this foundation really hits close to home," president Joshua Hudson said. "Giving back to the community is very important to us at Hudson's, and we seize any opportunity we come across to help out."
When Hudson's Furniture hosted its customer appreciation night, they announced they would take a portion of the proceeds to donate to the Children's Miracle Network. The event was a huge success; they were able to give $2,000 back to the foundation that helps thousands of children in the Central Florida area.
