Thelma Smith of Daytona Beach looks over various items and artifacts from the SANKOFA African American Museum on Wheels in the Midtown Cultural and Education Center during the 12th annual Juneteenth Family Festival in Daytona Beach. Juneteenth is the popular commemoration of General Gordon Granger's reading of General Order No. 3, in Galveston, Texas, on June 19, 1865. The order executed President Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation that ended slavery.
