WPBF 25 has launched the completely redesigned WPBF.com, South Florida's online destination for local breaking news and weather.
WPBF.com has been completely reengineered to offer an easier-to-navigate and more user-focused experience.
The new and improved website now features a sleek, clutter-free design with an enhanced layout for breaking stories, videos, slideshows and more.
The upgraded WPBF 25 first alert weather page delivers critical information through easy-to-access alerts, forecasts, advanced interactive radar, maps and videocasts.
Social media integration has been streamlined, making it simpler for users to connect by commenting and sharing stories, pictures and videos.
Additionally, ad unit placement has been revised throughout the website for increased visibility and clicks without hindering the browsing experience.
"The relaunch of WPBF.com is an important step in our commitment to provide superior breaking news and weather coverage to our market," said Caroline Taplett, WPBF 25 president and general manager.
Users can access a tutorial video outlining the numerous enhancements on the new homepage. Year-to-date WPBF.com has experienced over 4.5 million page views.
WPBF 25 will continue to strengthen its digital platform with all new editions of the popular WPBF 25 News and WPBF 25 hurricane tracker apps for iPhone, iPad and Android to be released soon.
