The TICO Airshow has been scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 9-11, at the Valiant Air Command, U.S. Highway 1 and S.R. 405 in Titusville.

There will be modern military fly-bys and demonstrations, strafing runs, vintage war birds, static displays, dog fights and a vintage car show and flight line.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m. with many things to do before the 1 p.m. air show.

At 9 a.m., the warbird flightline area opens to spectators to view vintage warbirds and static displays.

In addition, there will be plane rides, helicopter rides, amusements rides, car displays, reenactments, autograph signing, chair rental, shopping at vendors, a beer garden, chalets meeting the pilots and war heroes. There will also be courtesy golf cart transportation available.

The flghtline and pit area closes to spectators at 12:45 pm with the opening ceremony.

The 1 p.m. air show will feature:

. Ac-47 "spooky" - Flag Jump and Circle Smoke Parachute Demo Team

. Mark Sorenson - "Tumbling tiger" smoke ring show

. Doug Matihews - P-51 performance

. Ray Kinney - F4U Corsair, aerial performance

. Aerial demonstrations by valiant air command members

. AT-6 "Texan" demo and aerobatics by Gene McNeely

. Doug Matthews - T-33, aerial performance

. F-104 Starfighter team demo

. Retro Fight - aerial performance

. WWI dog fight - Red Baron vs. Snoopy

. B-25 Doolittle Raiders U.S. Airforce bomber fly by

. Salute to veterans" - Mark Sorenson in the Yak 55

. Fighters galore

. Dan Carr - A4 Skyhawk, aerial performance race

. Mike Dunkel in the L-39 vs. jet car

. John Black in the super decathlon - aerobatic performance

. Black Diamond Jet Team grand finale - the heritage flight

. Gates closed to spectators at 5 p.m.

There will be a very special TICO AirShow appearance by the only flying B-29 "FIFI"

"FIFI", the only operational Super Fortress in the world, is going to be at the Tico Warbird Airshow.

"FIFI" will be available for "living history" ride flights throughout the airshow weekend.

You will sit in the seats occupied by our veterans, move around while in the air and experience the thrill of riding the world's only flying Superfortress.

The B-29 will be available for cockpit tours when not in operation.

Advance tickets cost $15 for adults and $5 for children, age 5-12. Advance 3-day passes cost $45. Gate tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for children, age 5-12.

Tico Warbird Airshow 2012 reserves the right to change and/or remove events in accordance with availability of participating aircraft and does not guarantee the accuracy or time line of this schedule.

Special note - all active military aircraft are subject to availability.

Smoking is not permitted in the flightline area or within 100 feet of aircraft.

Access to the show and flightline area is permitted only with the understanding that you accept full and total liability and responsibility during your attendance.

No coolers, firearms or pets are allowed. Keep safety in mind at all times.

In case of rain or a situation beyond your control that prevents you from attending the airshow, your unused airshow ticket will be good for admission to the Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum.

The warbird museum will be closed during the airshow. All aircraft will be on display at the airshow site.

Valiant Air Command Museum is at 6600 Tico Road, Titusville.
