Students get mail from White House
Students at the Dasie Bridgewater Hope Center focused on the election during 2008 and even sent personal letters to the Obama family after the inauguration.
To their delight, five months after moving into the White House, first lady Michelle Obama sent a reply and autographed photos to Dasie Hope.
She thanked the students for their interest in their new life and home, and reminded them the White House is full of history and belongs to all Americans.
She encouraged the students to visit www.whitehouse.gov and www.whitehousehistory.org to learn more about the White House.
